Task Nation

Web Design | Micro Site

Task Nation is an early-stage Portuguese SaaS(Software as a Service) startup that helps its users manage their household expenses. A Task Nation representative reached out with a vision to create a simple and unique micro-site that educated visitors on the benefits of the platform, to entice them to sign up for early access. I decided to take up the opportunity as it would be the first time I worked on a project whose content language I did not understand and figured it would be an interesting challenge to overcome.

Objective

Entice visitors to register for Task Nation's early-stage access by educating them about the platform's benefits.

Assignment

Design a simple micro-site that educates users of the benefits they'd get as Task Nation customers.

Hero section

I started working on this section first, as it's what site visitors see when they initially visit the site. I choose a two-column layout to make it easy for visitors to connect the value proposition with the visual. I did this by using an F shaped reading pattern (Where users read in a horizontal movement) .

Below the fold

Once visitors are familiar with the value proposition of the platform, as they scroll down, they are guided into the below the fold section of the site, which reveals more details about the platform's benefits and features. As they get to the end of the page a call to action appears that requests them to sign up in order to get early access.
